* In order to be placed on our waiting list you must first fill out the adoption application below and be approved. * We only adopt in same sex pairs. Opposite sex pairs may be adopted only if you agree to have one or both altered by my vet at your expense, in which I will wave the adoption fee for each rat that is altered. *Adopting more then two is acceptable. Again if adopting males and females together you are required to have either the males or females altered by my vet at your expense. I will wave the adoption fee for each rat that is altered. * All adopters are required to sign and uphold a contract. * We will only adopt to ethical reputable breeders that we have worked with in the past or come with a reference from a breeder we have worked with in the past. * Minors must have parents' consent before adopting. Parents must be present with the minor during pick up and are required to sign and uphold the adoption contract. * We do not ship our rats. You must pick up at a location near us. Depending on our schedules we may be able to meet with you part way. * Must provide a photo of the cage set up where the rats will be living. Cage must be pictured with an object that is of recognizable size to use as a reference. * Adoption fee is $20 each * A $10 non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit is only accepted after the adopter picks out which babies they wish to adopt. If no, please explain why. *I have read Odyssey Design Rattery's Adoption Policies and agree with them. *Have you ever bred rats in the past, present or plan to in the future? *Are you wanting to be placed on a general waiting list or are you interested in a particular rat(s) or a rat(s) from a particular litter? *Do you owned Rats now or have in the past? Tell us about them. *Do you have a separate off-site location suitable to quarantine your new Rats? *Do you understand that same sex Rats should be housed together unless the opposite is spayed or neutered? *Where will the Rats be kept? *What type of housing (cage) do you have available for your Rats? *What type of diet will you make available to the Rats? *What type of bedding will you use in the Rats housing? *How much time do you have to spend with the Rats? *If you were to suddenly start working more hours, have to travel more, or must relocate; what will happen to the Rats? *Who are the Rats for? *Who will be responsible for taking care of the Rats? *Do you own other pets?
